Jim Woods

Head Golf Professional

Jim Woods, a Class “A” PGA Golf Professional, is an accomplished player and competitor with over twenty years of experience both professionally and personally. Throughout his career Jim has been privileged to be the Head Golf Professional at three other golf courses and owned and operated his own golf school. Jim is an expert in all areas of golf and has taught thousands of lessons to all ages and abilities including; Veterans in the PGA Hope Program, Special Olympic competitors and Recreation Habilitation Programs for people with disabilities. Jim twice qualified for the PGA tour event “The BC Open” in his hometown of Endicott, NY and was also a US Open medalist in a local qualifier. Playing inside the ropes on the PGA tour and narrowly missing a chance to play in the US Open are experiences he will always remember. Jim also spends ample time giving back to the golf community where he has helped raise thousands of dollars for local and national charities through his career.

Dave has been fortunate enough to work and train under some of the best teaching professional’s in the world.  Mike Adams (currently #2 in the world), Dr. TJ Tomasi, Jim Suttie, Dr. Gary Wiren, Mark Hackett, and Craig Harmon to name a few.  Along with teaching among some of the best, he also managed and taught at three locations for a Top 25 Golf School in the World for Mike Adams LAW’s Academy of Golf at PGA National West Palm Beach, FL, Omni Interlocken in Broomfield, CO, and at Royce Brook in Hillsborough, NJ.  Dave has also worked and taught at some of the best golf courses and resorts in the world, Oak Hill CC, Laurel Valley CC, PGA National, Omni Interlocken,  CC of the Rockies, Nemacolin Woodlands, Maryland National, and Diamante, Cabo San Lucas. At Monroe Community College, Dave went to nationals in two different sports, baseball and golf and was a 5-sport letterman in high school.
