A professional, friendly team of planners and expert chefs ready to prepare creative menus infused with local flavor. Exchange vows in our enchanting Narragansett Ballroom. Hosting a capacity of 600 people, the room is adorned with 22-foot ceilings and crystal chandeliers. The space can be divided into different areas for ceremonies, banquets and entertainment, making it a perfect choice for larger gatherings and celebrations. Afterwards capture moments of your special day at The Rotunda, an elegant columned reception area, perfect for photographs.

The Jefferson Ballroom is the perfect location for a tasteful seated dinner or an elaborate buffet. Composed of the East and West ballrooms, the Jefferson Ballroom features 14-foot ceilings, upscale décor, a movable wood parquet dance floor and dimmed lighting to set the mood for a romantic evening. Maximum attendance: 400 guests
Atrium
Truly the jewel of the downtown mall, our grand seven-story glass atrium offers a romantic ambiance with its unique garden feel. The Atrium is the perfect location for the reception cocktail hour, offering the outside feel and the protection of the indoors. Featuring lush greenery, a wishing well fountain, and a baby grand piano, the Atrium is also an excellent location to host a wedding brunch or welcome event. Ceremony Capacity: 125 Guests. Standing Reception Capacity: 300 Guests
Skyline Room
Experience a more personal setting by choosing our Skyline Room, featuring stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a romantic view of the charming historic downtown mall. A beloved choice for many, the Skyline Room serves as an ideal venue for hosting intimate events such as rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, post-wedding gatherings, small ceremonies, and brunches. With a capacity of 80 guests for rehearsal dinners and wedding brunches, 50 guests for wedding receptions, and 120 guests for ceremonies, the Skyline Room offers a picturesque and versatile space for your special occasions.

WHAT OUR GUESTS HAD TO SAY
From the start, the Sales and Catering teams were amazing - they were very responsive, had great suggestions, and played a huge part in the success of planning our wedding. We had our ceremony in one-third of the ballroom and it was transformed into our reception area during the cocktail hour. This transformation was absolutely stunning! The Omni staff followed our decoration wishes perfectly, and everything looked beautiful. And the Atrium was a beautiful place for cocktail hour! Our guests raved about the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Downtown Mall. Additionally, the food and drink service was wonderful at the reception.
My husband and I were married and celebrated our wedding reception this past weekend at The Omni. Every single detail of our experience at The Omni was fantastic. The reception room was stunning, the food fantastic, the service was impeccable, the executive suite had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries upon our arrival after the reception, and all of our gifts from the reception were delivered to the room for us.

Weddings FAQ
In addition to hosting your Wedding, we can also host other aspects of your wedding preparation and weekend, such as bridal showers, rehearsal dinner, post wedding brunches, and wedding room blocks.
A signed contract outlining the date and event time is required to confirm your wedding date and venue site at The Omni Charlottesville Hotel. A 20% deposit is due with your signed contract.
If 10 or more guest rooms are required, The Omni Charlottesville Hotel will be happy to assist you in setting up a Room Block for your guests based on availability at the time requested. We offer flexibility in how your guests can reserve rooms. We offer a customized group webpage, as an option, so your guests can easily make their own reservations online. Alternatively, guests can call to make their reservations over the phone.
A 20% deposit (20% of your catering minimum and room rental) is due with your signed contract and is required to secure your wedding date and venue location.
Outside food and beverage is not permitted. However, a bakery may provide your wedding cake for you and all attempts will be made to assist you with any specialty food or dietary needs.
