Jacksonville Beaches

The Jacksonville Beaches community includes Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach. Each of these communities offers beautiful white sand along the Atlantic Ocean, a variety of activities, and restaurants and shops for your enjoyment. One of the most scenic attractions within the Beaches community is the Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier located in Jacksonville Beach or Jax Beach as it referred to by the locals. The pier is nearly a quarter of a mile long, you can see many deep water species of fish and you don't need a Saltwater fishing license. It costs $4.00 to fish and $1.00 to walk on the pier. Children under age 6 are free. There is bait and tackle available along with light snacks at the pier.  

The Beaches area also offers some of the most recognized golf courses in the country including TPC Sawgrass which is the home of THE PLAYERS Championship held every year in May. There are a number of fantastic locally owned restaurants whose menus are inspired by the local region. From fish camps to gastropubs to micro-breweries the Beaches community offers choices for everyone. The beaches are a convenient 25-30 minute drive from the hotel. Our staff are more than happy to set up transportation or offer easy directions to their favorite locations.    

Things to Know Before You Hit The Beach

• Visitors can use the Beaches Trolley on weekends to get around. Check out the cost and schedule.
• Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach are known for their nightlife
• Free parking is available as well as two city-owned lots that charge a small fee
• Casino boats can be found in the village of Mayport
